Stopping For Gas
I hate stopping for gas. I wait until the warning bell rings and calculate how far I can travel after the warning lights come on. In the race to get everything done each day, stopping for gas is annoying.
God made us: invented us as a person invents an engine. A car is made to run on gasoline, and it would not run properly on anything else. Now God designed the human machine to run on Himself. A Prayer for Today
Lord, you know how much I have to get done today and pausing for quiet reflection isn’t one of them. I rest in this moment of silence and invite you to feed me with your very self – living bread for the journey, fuel for my soul. For Jesus’ sake…
